The Dale View College of Pharmacy and Research Centre library is a spacious one with a large number of titles. The library has separate reference sections for students and faculty. Newspapers, Periodicals and Journals are available in the reading room. Internet access is also provided in the library.

The objective of The Dale View College of the Pharmacy and Research Centre library are: 
1. To provide up-to-date relevant information at the right time.
2. To support the educational, research and development activities of the college.
3. To create cultural development through promoting the reading habits of the students.

stage I 
1. Purchase of required books and increase the collection.
2. Keep separately a reference collection.
3. Classification of Books.
    Scheme - Dewey's Decimal Classification.
4. Cataloging -Dr.Ram Nathan's Dictionary catalogue.

Stage IV 
Start publication of interest of after getting sanction from the Registrar of Newspaper, New Delhi.

Profile of the Librarian
N.Gopinathan Nair
N.Gopinathan Nair is the Chief Librarian of our college. After completing his B.A, He passed the B.LiB.Sc. with high II class. Then he joined M.L.I.Sc. and came out with II rank. Later he got certificate in Reprography (C.REPRO (INSDOC)), New Delhi and Certificate in German from Kerala University. Mean time he passed L.L.B from Law Academy, Thiruvananthapuram. 

Research Experience 

Research leading to PhD in Library Science (Topic: Colon Classification. Dewey's decimal classification and universal decimal Classification. Their application to medical sciences -Approved by the Doctoral committee and University of Kerala.

Award wining certificate 

Cash award winner for the meritorious service in the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram for library Promotion Work.

National Seminar: 1. On medical information services - A seminar organized by the British council Division in collaboration with Govt. of Tamil Nadu. 2. D.R.T.C Seminar - documentation, research Training centre, Malleswaram, Bangalore. 3. I.S.R.O seminar on Information Technology, Trivandrum.

1. Assistant librarian, Medical College, Trivandrum from 25-03-1968 to 04-02-1975.
2. Librarian - cum- Documentation officer and H.O.D of Library, Sree Chitira Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum from 05-2-1975 to 30-08-1988.
3. Lecturer in Library Sciences (Honorary Basis) in the Kerala Grandhasala Sangham, Trivandrum.
4. Subject Expert in the Kerala Public Service Commission for the post of "Medical Records - Librarian" - 1980.
5. Enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar council of Kerala, Ernakulam and was practicing as an Advocate and specialized in the area of service matters.
