The Dale View is a Community Based Voluntary Organization that has been working at the grass root level in diversified development fields like agriculture & animal husbandry,  education, women empowerment, rehabilitation of the disabled, natural resources management, de-addiction treatment, employment generating programmes, etc. since 1978 in the districts of Trivandrum, Kollam and Idukki in Kerala. Micro Credit Programme was first started by the Organisation in 1992 as an in-house savings and credit programme for the staff.

Inception 
The abysmal living conditions of the Punalal village and the neglect by the authorities paved the way for the birth of "The Dale View" under the spirited guidance of Mr. C. Christudas, present Director. On march 16, 1978 The Dale View was registered as a Voluntary Organisation under the Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific and Societies Registration Act XII of 1955.
